9.30am to 12pm or 1 pm to 3:30pm

The GCSE Maths Exam Revision workshops, run by myself or another excellent experienced teacher will:

be delivered by an experienced EDEXCEL examiner and/or Head of Department but will be suitable for other boards.
enable students to feel ‘exam ready’ and boost confidence
cover a number of examination topics within the subject area and grade level.
practice examination questions with immediate and targeted feedback
Students will take away targeted revision resources.

The AQA GCSE English and English Literature Exam Revision workshops will:

be delivered by an experienced AQA examiner
enable students to feel ‘exam ready’ and boost confidence
provide exam strategies and guidance on how to succeed in each of the questions of the exam paper
look at high-quality exemplar papers to support learning
allow students to complete a range of revision activities with immediate and targeted feedback
Students will take away targeted revision resources.

Good schools often recommend revision courses to pupils who seem not to be fulfilling their potential, and there is plenty of evidence that purposeful, well-structured teaching in small groups can cover sufficient ground to make a substantial difference.

Easter Revision Courses really help improve your grade. Attendance may ensure you get the GCSE grade required for a particular course at school 6th form or college.

This course aims to improve student understanding and focus on specific topics to help students move up a grade (or more). The course addresses clearly how to gain marks in examinations, study skills, effective revision and exam technique.

Students are grouped by ability. Based on a detailed analysis of their requirements and target grades, courses are tailored both for students who want to increase their chances of a top grade as well as for those needing a C grade equivalent pass at grade 4 or 5 for entry to 6th form or college. Tutors concentrate on the areas of the subject that are of most concern to their students.

South Coast Tutors’ courses are taught by qualified and experienced specialist teachers, chosen for their expertise in the subject and ability to engage and inspire students. All tutors are currently teaching the new 9-1 Maths GCSE course and understand the up to date demands of this new course.

When booking, we ask students to identify their exact needs as much as possible and to provide detailed information on their requested topics. This way teachers can prepare in advance and ensure each student gets the most out of the course. Course materials are provided which are specifically designed to address the new topics and new question styles, with separate versions prepared to mimic each different board’s examination papers.

We will cover the main topics likely to come up in the GCSE exam, look at examination technique and how to ensure key marks are gained.

All tutors have a current DBS check.
