ISEB Pre-test sessions for Canford, other schools and
London 11+ consortium prep

Most local children attend the face to face grammar 11+ sessions in the run up to the pretest – either from early in year 5 or from the summer holidays. We run an ISEB course focusing mainly on non verbal reasoning in October, which follows three sessions suitable for grammar or pretest prep in September to ensure all areas are covered and can recommend online packages for mock exams.
We usually have one online class for year 5-6 covering ISEB and London Consortium preparation.

Interview preparation

Interview preparation sessions will run again in December or January for those with interviews. The sessions may also be useful for other schools. After the 1 hour session, there will be written feedback. All students taking part in previous years have gained places. These can be arranged in a group using local tutors or 1-1 via zoom with James, an ex head teacher who is very experienced a supporting you and your child through the interview process.
